Digital Future Begins: This was the motto for the official opening of the Einstein Center Digital Future by Governing Mayor of Berlin Michael Müller and the ECDF Executive Board. The event at the Robert-Koch-Forum was attended by around 200 guests from science, politics, business and society. Visitors had the opportunity to experience the ECDF’s interdisciplinary concept in the accompanying exhibition. The research projects, companies and start-ups involved in the ECDF presented their ideas for the digital future. The appointments of Professor Dr. Florian Tschorsch as first junior professor and Professor Jochen Rabe as visiting professor had already been completed in time for the launch.
